"The Live Stream Incident" and A Special Announcement

IT IS FINALLY FUCKING DONE.

(SCURVY SPOILERS AHOY, watch the above video before reading)

After weeks and weeks of tedious editing and rendering, this massive 30 minute, 1.5GB video is complete and uploaded. The shots were tricky, the planning was intricate, and the editing was grueling, but it's finally been completed and posted. What really took the bulk of my time to edit was the scene where I get teleported around to previous videos. I had that teleport scene planned for a long time, at least since one of my first rewrites of TribeTwelve's plot. The most difficult bit to pull off was the hotel scene, which took up nearly 3/4 of my entire editing time to execute correctly and polish as best I could, easily proving to be the most monotonous and tiresome editing process I have ever committed myself to performing. Hope you enjoyed the video, even though it was a bit lengthy. Because Stickam didn't record the livestream on my account, I decided to include as much as I could from what I had recorded on my camera so that people who weren't there to witness it live could see what happened.

Now, for the announcement that I was talking about...

This is the end of Season 1, or Part 1, or the first half of TribeTwelve, whatever you want to call it. Now, don't jump to any conclusions over this. Just because there are 40 videos now, doesn't mean that the series will conclude with 80; there may be more or less. I'm really not quite sure yet myself how many videos the rest of the plot will entail, but I'm very excited to make them regardless. I'm going to take another short hiatus or so from making videos, and by short I really mean a month or two as usual. I'm allowing myself this time to work on a section of the series that has only been planned out but not written down yet. If any of you are curious, it's this mysterious document that I talked about in a previous post. I've been working hard with my writers for years on it and it's looking positively marvelous.

More updates on that will come in the future.

Christmas Editing

He sees you when you're sleeping.
He knows when you're awake.
I'm not talking about Santa.

Or am I?
Happy holidays everybody!

For the past three and a half weeks, I've been editing the climax of this upcoming Livestream video and it's really taking a toll on me, but worth every second of effort.

If I were you and really excited for the next TribeTwelve episode, I would rewatch the entire series, at least everything since The Envelope video. The new episode will contain certain callbacks from older videos that will blow your mind. It's well worth it, I guarantee you. Plus, having a watch party for Christmas sounds like a swell idea if you ask me. I'm nearing the completion of this whopping 30 minute video, and I'm hoping to get it out by Christmas night at the least. If I can't start rendering the final project tonight, I'll be working to get it started Christmas Day because I really have nothing to do on Christmas. I don't really get physical presents, but the only thing I really want for Christmas is to see your reactions to the video. If worse comes to worst, I'll aim for a Friday release date, on the 28th. Once it's ready, I'll tweet when it's going up on the TribeTwelve Twitter so you can get even more hyped and get ready your F5ing finger.

Until then, enjoy the holidays and the false apocalypse.

The November 11th Livestream and News on the Upcoming Livestream Video

Sorry about the livestream being so terrible. It didn't go exactly as I planned because at the time, INTERCEPTION couldn't render properly and errored out each attempt. It was supposed to play at 11:15 but didn't work, so I just manycammed it playing in premiere at midnight. I guess a lot of people were lagged out of the chat and many didn't see much at all, I'm not even sure the livestream recorded properly, damn Stickam. Last time I'm using their service. It could have been much, much better - but too many technical factors messed up the result. Anyway, the livestream video on my camera will be uploaded to make up for the stream difficulties and frankly, that's what I worked the hardest on. I'm disappointed, but all in all it worked in the end.

So, to recap:

1. INTERCEPTION was supposed to play during the livestream, but for some reason only the audio played.
2. The livestream didn’t record, only 38 seconds. I guess that was all Stickam thought it was worth. No matter, I have it mostly recorded on my camera. I’ll upload the good bits and then the special part when I went off screen.
3. I've been working on the livestream video since the 11th and it's requiring a lot of time to do, mainly due to specific effects that require hours of tedious patience. This may be the longest TribeTwelve video to date 25+ minutes long, since it includes the best bits from the stream. Every second of the video will be worth it, however.
4. If Premiere allows me to render this behemoth in one piece, I'm planning to have it uploaded at least by Christmas, but no guarantees.

TribeTwelve DVD Overhaul Announcement

So, a lot of things have changed since I first proposed the TribeTwelve DVD. Initially, I had come up with a single two disk set, similar to what Marble Hornets had done with their Season 1 DVD. It later was changed to three disks, but then I had the revamp and the single DVD set idea was not looking viable anymore. So, due to longer video lengths and numerous changes to the future of the series, there's likely going to be at least two sets of DVDs, a Part 1 and a Part 2, each containing two to three disks. As much as I don't want to do it, there will have to be more than one set because it's the only way to include all the content I want for you guys to see without cutting corners. I’m planning for a shit ton of special features: commentary, behind the scenes, bloopers, deleted scenes, tutorials, refurbished original episodes, extra videos, and secret videos, as well as a bunch of other special features. And not to alarm anyone, but there may even be a Part 3 if I still can't fit everything in the first two sets. However, I still think it's too early to judge because I'm not entirely sure of how much I can even fit on a single DVD. When it comes time to actually create the DVDs, I'll do everything in my power to keep the cost and size as low as possible while maintaining the HD video quality and special features, so please bear with me. I'm also worried about cost. It's going to take a lot of money to make these sets, as well as cost you guys to buy. I'll probably do some sort of Kickstarter in the future if need be to help pay for the process. So, I’m thinking the cost per set will range somewhere from $15 - $35, considering all of the work I’ll need to put into making it all, how many actual discs I’ll have in each set, and all the bonus content I want to include. So, for the foreseeable future, the TribeTwelve DVD plan is going to be two sets of two to three DVDs.

Feedback would be very appreciated. This is a big undertaking for me and I'd really like some fan input. I’m still working out exactly what content I plan to put on the DVD, so if you would like to see something in particular or something I haven't mentioned, feel free to message me with your request!

Succesfuly Crossed Over

And, the crossover's over!

"The Manifest"

"Our Meet-up"

"The Order"

After months of editing and preparation, TribeTwelve's last crossover episode with DarkHarvest is finally completed! Another big thanks to everyone who came all the way out to help us with the shoot, we couldn't have made such amazing videos without you wonderful dedicated volunteers! I put my blood, sweat, tears, and cum into editing this newest entry, The Order, and I think it all pays off. The way it syncs up with DarkHarvest's video log was a joint effort between Chris and I of editing and planning, certainly a feat we're both proud of. In the end, we all had so much fun creating this little story arc and I'm glad I was able to be a part of such a fantastic project and work with such fantastic people.

What's up next for TribeTwelve? Well, for the first time in a while, I'm not entirely sure. But, it's not that I have no idea which direction to go in as my plot is still quite structured, it all really depends on which path I choose to take and which videos I should release in which order. Since the revamp, I have all my videos planned out and some even filmed already. However, which episodes I should work on first is a bit of a challenge to ponder. Fortunately, I have a good idea about what is going to happen next, so there's no need to worry about TribeTwelve being stuck at a crossroads. But I think it's safe to say, from here on out, TribeTwelve will begin to lean more into plot advancement and story progression. Until the next episode, good luck sleeping! ~

Crossing Over with DarkHarvest

As many of you may now know, project Blue Öyster Cult was a crossover between TribeTwelve and DarkHarvest.

Their side of our meetup can be seen here:

We both worked very hard to make our videos happen, and we think that it paid off rather nicely. However, the crossover isn't over until Noah posts his side of the footage, but that won't be for a little while because I need to convert, edit, and render the video all together. And it's a whopper of a video, it may even have to be split into two (I hope not). So stay tuned, TribeTwelve will update in the coming weeks. Maybe earlier if you're patient. ;)

A possible next project...

...that I've recently thought of doing was writing book on Slender Man. This book wouldn't necessarily be a story, but more of a Max Brooks 'Zombie Survival Guide'-esque fact/theory journal take on Slender Man with all of the important series used as references. Being one of the primordial few who launched this fandom I am a primary source, having extensive knowledge on the Slender Man Mythos and Verse. I think I have the proper credentials required to be such a fandom-size historian. Who would want to read this if I wrote it after the conclusion of TribeTwelve?

TribeTwelve: Revamped

Guys, I have a confession to make. Ever since I had come up with the TribeTwelve series finale several months ago, I've been slowly realizing that although it was an awesome idea for an ending, it had also been somewhat weak and plot-holey. Fortunately, last night, my friend Will and I had a random brainstorming session. We stayed up till 5am bouncing thoughts off of each other and eventually came up with several complex ideas along with a slightly altered and extended ending to the series. In order to accompany these vital ideas in snugly, a few things had to be changed, but these small changes make a world of a difference in the grand scheme of the series. In the end, our brainstorming session helped create some fantastic concepts that filled the gaping plot holes that we had addressed, making the overly ambiguous mysteries have more depth, meaning, and giving a much more coherent and intelligent twist to the story. The ending in particular has been drastically improved; think of the initial ending as a birthday cake, and think of the new ending as a wedding cake. At the end of the night, we reread the notepad that we had written our ideas on and went all giddy at how beautiful everything came together. What we have created is a magnificent triumph of non-linear continuity, logical concept, and abstract thought, and if you can comprehend what we have done when we pull all this off, feel free to shed a tear. The final product will be a beautiful thing, and I can not wait to share it with you all. ♥

Project "Blue Öyster" Shoot

Everyone at the Blue Öyster shoot. We had a marvelous time together!

I just got back from New Jersey the other day and I'm happy to say that the Blue Öyster Cult shoot was a complete success! We got all the shots we needed, and you guys were great to work with. I really appreciate all of your help. Thanks for everyone who traveled to Oakhurst and participated in the shoot.

For those of you who do not know, I organized a film shoot with a bunch of guys in New Jersey for a project labeled "Blue Öyster" around two weeks ago. And I'll say it now, it was indeed for an upcoming TribeTwelve episode, but it's also a little more than that. You'll all see when it comes out. We're aiming for releasing this whole dealio in about a month, more or less, but I assure you that it'll be worth your patience. We've all worked pretty hard on this and I'm pretty excited about it. So stay tuned, keep jamming down that F5 key, and DON'T SLEEP.

EVER. ♥

My Fucked Up Dream: "The Crimson Harvest"

I just woke up from this very fucked up dream. This is much shorter than my last dream, but still very terrifying. The ending definitely is what made the dream for me though; it was so unexpected, yet so oddly fitting...

Just like "The Great Visage", I supply you with this small visualization I made in Photoshop to accompany you as you read.

For some reason, I was walking the streets of this pretty empty city at night, somewhere down south but with a lot of tall buildings, when a police car comes barreling through the street. I was crossing at the time, and the guy barely hit me before crashing into the steps of a building at the end of the street. This fat black cop immediately got out of the car and ran past me before I could say anything. I looked to where he was running, and there was a fence being set up and a large crowd forming. A big wooden sign was raised, "Heart Defect Screening". I remember watching on the news about this new heart defect that got everyone freaked out, so I guess this was a big deal. Over a megaphone somewhere, someone said "FORM A FUCKING LINE AGAINST THE FENCE IF YOU WANT TO BE SCREENED", and everyone ran to the fence. I got a decent spot in line, and asked the people around me about the screening. Few could say anything because they were so scared about having the defect that they just stood there waiting for their turn. One guy in front of me was saying that if you’re found with the defect, they’d have to open you up and have open heart surgery right then and there or else you may die any second. I got real nervous at this. When I was near the next person in line, they made me take off my shirt, sign a lengthy form, and I asked, "How long is the ultrasound going to take?" and the official replied, "This ain't no ultrasound boy, it's a cardiac catheterization procedure". This freaked me the fuck out, because that's a surgical procedure where they insert a catheter into a chamber or vessel of the heart, and also because I was up next. I was really reluctant, because there was this giant billboard, similar to a scoreboard at a basketball game, which had a red LED read out increasing numbers:

DEFECTS FOUND: 48
NO DEFECTS FOUND: 83
TOTAL: 123

Next in line, I was given a small remote. I had to wait for a green button to light up. When it lit up, I pressed it and I walked down the long empty area of the other side of the fence into this run down building. From the inside, it was very dark and looked very makeshift; there were big sheets of opaque plastic draped everywhere and dim blue lights shining faintly behind them, a rancid odor permeated the halls; a mixture of sanitizer soap and decaying flesh. There was a distinct whirring of machinery and it was very cold. I must have taken the wrong turn, because I found this room with a sign slapped on saying, "HARVEST STORAGE". Inside, it was like a giant freezer with this massive glass chamber filled with blood. There was a pneumatic tube connected to the top of the container, and something red fell down through it into the blood pool. Looking closer, I could see that it was a heart. The whole container was filled with human hearts, some still quivering. I ran out of the room, trying to find an exit, but the place was a maze. I finally found what I had thought to be the exit, except it was the operating room. It was backlit from behind the operating table, so I could only see silhouettes, but there was a man screaming on the table. There were 4 to 5 surgeons, except their forms didn't look human. They looked quite reptilian, with long faces and tails coming out from the back of their white surgical gowns. I was stunned and paralyzed at this sight, they looked like humanoid velociraptors. They had just pulled out this man's heart and put it though this suction tube going upward that I assumed connected to the glass heart container. Their blood covered snouts turned toward me, and I heard them shriek. It sounded exactly like that frightening sound from Jurassic Park that the raptors made. I ran out the double doors and took a zigzag route in order to lose them. After a while, there was this dark hallway with a door at the end of it. Inside this room, through the circular windows of the double doors, a small light was bouncing around. I went in and ran toward the little light. I hit something thick – it was a person. I found the light switch and flicked it on. The person who I ran into was none other than Link from Zelda, the little light being Navi. I began to ask, "Link?! What the fuck are you doing he-" but he interrupted me by grabbing my shirt and saying sternly, "THE DODONGOS. THEY'RE STEALING ALL THE HEARTS. I NEED MORE HEARTS. I ONLY HAVE TWO AND A HALF LEFT. WHERE ARE THEY KEEPING THEM? YOU MUST TELL ME, BOY. NOW." Before I could answer, I was woken up by my mom at 2:30pm and began writing this all down.

I don't know what to make of the dream, but it was so terrifying that it wasn't even funny when I woke up. I was still scared out of my mind. Fucking Dodongos.

My Fucked Up Dream: "The Great Visage"

Ok, guys. I usually don't do this, but I'm going to post a dream of mine here, mainly because I think it's too long for a Facebook post and I think this is the best place to put it. Last night I had probably one of the scariest, most fucked up dreams that I've ever had. It was so vivid and real, I can remember the events and what was said so clearly.

Important Note: This isn't related to Slender Man at all, it is something completely different, yet still quite disturbing. It is long and graphic, so get some popcorn ready.

I decided to make this small visualization in Photoshop to accompany you as you read, it took me five minutes.
This is how the chapel looked in my dream, more or less.

I was somehow filming a sequel to Speceballs. (this wasn't the scary part) I barely remember what that was all about, but once I was out of that, I traveled home. I realized that I was highly athletic and could sprint and hop with reflexes like a ninja. I went to a park and started practicing some moves, when this guy came up to me who looked strikingly like an old friend of mine with a buzz cut, except his name was Collin. He said that he was watching me and liked my style, offering me to this karate place downtown. Feeling I should exercise my new found abilities, I said what the hell and went with him there. Once there, a bunch of other people were there acting like I was, kicking and fighting each other. All of them oddly had their heads shaved like Collin. I was greeted by the sensei; he shook my hand and welcomed me into his 'congregation'. Collin made me sign my name in this very large book next to the number "263" and I started to practice some moves. So, for a while, I sparred with everyone until it became dark outside. I went to call my house to tell my parents that I'd be home late because of my new abilities and this new karate place I've found, but there was no signal. As I was busy on the phone, everyone in the sparring room, left through a side door into another room. When I was done trying to call my folks, Collin asked me to join the others in the other room for the 'ceremony'. Confused, I followed him into the next room. To my confusion, the next room was a chapel of sorts, lined with several pews divided by a middle pathway. It was very foggy inside with a stark mildew/rotten eggs stench, like a smoke machine was blasting air from some terrible swamp. The room was divided into two sections; to the right were all the karate guys dressed in black robes with big hoods, and on the left a bunch of men and women with horribly disfigured faces. I soon made out through the mist that they were wearing lifelike masks with numbers carved into their foreheads. Collin gave me a black robe and a white mask, mine had the number "263" written on the forehead of the mask. Collin's had the number "196". He ushered me to sit in one of the back rows of the congregation's right side, I obeyed reluctantly. Hooded men with rifles stood in each corner of the room. The sensei, who was up at the pulpit dressed in a large black hood with a mask numbered "14", began the ceremony. What he said was horrifying, talking of weakling sinners walking the earth and how retribution would be delivered to them through 'our' faith. I still had no idea what this whole thing was, but I was almost certain that it was a cult of some sort, a karate cult oddly enough. He explained how their lord came to be after the "Great 20, including myself summoned the great lord into our plane of existence many years ago." After a bunch of vague ranting about how sinners who leave this place are to be severely punished for their heresy, he ended his sermon with, "My brothers and sisters, may we now summon the Face of Judgment to decide the fate of the sinners we have brought here today." The men in robes began chanting this evil sounding song in low tones. I looked over at the 'sinners' sitting in the pews at the left side of the room. Save for the ugly masks, they were wearing normal clothing and had their hands bound behind their backs, shackled to their seats. Listening harder, I could hear their muffled cries, hinting that they were gagged behind their masks. Knowing I didn't belong here at all, I began to get really scared, having this odd feeling like I should really be on their side, even though I wasn't. And to my horror, as I looked back up at the center stage, looming above the sensei was a giant floating facemask. It was completely black, with two holes for eyes, but no mouth. On its forehead, I could make out the inscription of an "O", but later, I realized this to be a zero. It seemed to be materialized by the smoke, not made up of any real matter, but dark enough to appear real. At the sight of this massive face, I became dizzily transfixed on it and nearly paralyzed. "All behold the Great Visage!" yelled the sensei, and the right side of the congregation repeated his words, "He is without expression, he is without bias, he is without flaw. All knowing, all seeing, all judging, and all present, he is us, and we are him. Without his guidance, we are lost forever. All glory to the Face - The eternal Face of everyone and everything." At this, the people on the left howled through their gags at his presence, a terrifying sound. "SILENCE," the face demanded in a loud, echoic voice. The face began chastising the sinners for their crimes, and shouted at them for disobeying the sacred texts and denouncing him as their almighty lord. I remember a recurring theme of self-sacrifice. After that, the face then announced "NOW, WE WILL SING THE INCANTATION OF [[some gnarled word]]" and began chanting in odd tongues, the congregation singing along. During this, I managed to muster control of my body and leave the room nonchalantly and exited the chapel doors. The doors slammed behind me and, I heard the face shout, "THE NEW MEMBER HAS EXITED THE SACRED SCEREMONY". This is when I woke up at like 10am. I quickly went back to sleep and, luckily, I found myself back in the same karate room. There were candles everywhere now. I tried to call 911, but my phone was dead. The doors were bolted shut and the exits were all locked with heavy chains, including the windows and the bathroom. There was only one door that wasn't locked, and behind it was a dark stairwell that I didn't want to go up. This was when, I realized that the chapel had silenced. Knowing nowhere else to go, I went back through the doors to the chapel. As I opened the doors, everyone was turned around staring directly at me, including the face who was looming right in front of me over the doorway. "WHY HAVE YOU EXITED THE CEREMONY?" it boomed. Scared out of my fucking mind, I bowed and announced in the most humble manner I could, "Forgive me, my lord, for I had to use the restroom. I will be seated for the remainder of the ceremony." And I stood there, bowing for a good ten seconds before the face responded, "SUCH IS WHAT A SINNER WOULD DO. YOU ARE FORGIVEN THIS TIME, FOR YOU ARE STILL UNDERGOING ENLIGHTENMENT. DO NOT DIASAPPOINT MY PRESENCE AGAIN, NEW ONE. BE SEATED. NOW." I sat down as calmly as I could. Looking over at Collin, I asked him what the hell this is all about. He lifted up his mask to reveal this awful wide-eyed look on his face, like I had just killed someone. "Do not desecrate the sacred ritual! It is forbidden! The Face of Judgment must not be disrespected! Do you wish to be cast into the bath of eternal darkness?!" I responded in a scared whisper as the face floated back up to the pulpit, "I came here for karate, not worshiping a giant face!" He shushed me and the face began again, "TO INITIATE OUR NEW MEMBER, A SINNER MUST BE SAVED. BEGIN THE RITUAL." The sensei at the pulpit took out a spinning cage full of little white balls, like one you'd see at a bingo hall to announce numbers, and spun it. As he did the robed men began humming and someone in the left side of the room must have undone their gag and screamed, "Its just a projection! Can't you fucking see? They're pumping in gas to make you hallucinate, to make you forget!" the face turned fast toward him and screamed, "SILENCE THE HEATHEN SINNER." One of the guards took the butt of his rifle and slammed it into the man's chest, refastening the gag under the man’s mask. Just then, the sensei stopped spinning the cage and plucked out a ball. "MEMBER 14, ANNOUNCE THE HOLY NUMBER." Holding up the ball high in the air, he shouted "Number 145!" There were several screams from the left side of the congregation. One of the guards pulled Member 145 from their seat and brought him up on stage. "MEMBER 145," shouted the face, "GUILTY OF ABANDONING OUR SACRED PLACE OF WORSHIP, RENOUNCING THE FAITH, DISCARDING THE SACRED TEXTS, AND DESTROYING MEMBER 17. THIS IS HERESY OF THE HIGHEST DEGREE. I SENTANCE YOU TO BATHE IN THE ETERNAL BATH OF DARKNESS." The sensei banged a large drum and the congregation chanted, "May their mortal body serve as a token to the Almighty Face's grace and form. All glory to the Face - The eternal Face of everyone and everything." Then, the sensei gave the word and two guards rolled out a peculiar thing: It was what looked like a golf cart, except inside of it contained metal braces and other binding shackles. "STRIP MEMBER 145 OF ALL MORTAL POSSESSIONS" shouted the face, and the guards began removing all of his clothing, all except for the mask. He was then shoved into the contraption, his limbs fastened to the cart, except for his right arm. One of the guards took a blade, slashed down his wrist, and placed the arm up to the elbow in this large translucent glass tube that fed into a thick yellow rubber tube connected to the back of the cart. A small amount of blood began to collect at the bottom of the glass. "INITIATE THE BLOOD HARVEST," said the face and one of the guards turned the ignition of the cart. The man in the cart began to scream through his gag and shake violently; the guards had to hold him steady. The glass tube must have been sucking harshly on his arm, because blood began filling up the glass very swiftly, traveling down the tube and turning it a dark crimson. When it was nearly halfway full, the ignition was turned off, and the face said loudly "NOW, MY CHILDREN, DRINK OF HIS LIFE FLUID, SO THAT YOU MAY GAIN HIS SPIRITUAL ENERGY AND MORTAL STRENGTH." The left side of the congregation and I formed a line in front of the cart. The robed men were taking what looked like a gas pump hose that was connected to the yellow tubing and putting it up to their mouths and sucking before giving it to the next member in line and then sitting back down. When it came to my turn, I was absolutely disgusted. I put the nozzle up to my face and pretended to suck, but didn't actually do it. After I removed it, the face yelled, "DRINK, NEW ONE. BECOME STRONGER WITH US." Scared for my life, I was forced to suck a small bit of blood from the hose and swallow it before coughing and gagging some of the putrid stuff up. I sat back down, seeing Collin preform the hose sucking like it was second nature. Sitting back next to me, he said smiling, "Don't worry, man. You get used to it. To me, it tastes like candy." I was too sickened and disturbed to respond. "RELINQUISH THE BODY TO ME," said the face, "GO FOURTH 27, 196, 221 AND 263. TAKE HIM TO THE SACRED BATH." The man was hand cuffed behind his back, and the four of us escorted him out of the room through another door as the congregation chanted, "All glory to the Face - The eternal Face of everyone and everything." As we walked around a lengthy corridor, I was silent, but Collin whispered in my ear, "I recruited you because new members are always needed. Sacrifices are required to maintain the great visage. Without them, our eternal lord would not be able to materialize on our plane and would not be able to be summoned any longer." At this point, we had descended down a great deal of stairs into a basement. A large bookshelf was removed, to reveal an elevator, the kind you'd see from a coalmine. We descended in the elevator for quite some time before hitting the bottom. It was very hot and humid, difficult to breathe. We walked down this long corridor to find a very old looking oak door. Behind the door was a small room lit with blue flamed candles. There was nothing in the room except a bunch of candles, one guard, and an old looking bathtub, the kind held up by little legs bolted to the ground. This old bathtub looked normal enough, until we walked closer. The tub was filled nearly to the brim with a pitch black liquid. The fluid was too dark to be blood, as I first thought. Looking closer, it resembled highly viscous tar. The guard who was already there took out a black book and began chanting in tongues. "It is time," said one of the hooded men with us, removing 145's gag, "have you any final praises to the lord before you join him?" He began lashing out at us, "Fuck you! Fuck all of you assholes! None of this shit is real, don’t you fucking get it? It's a goddamn cult." He then turned his attention to me, "Kid, get the fuck out of here, they drug you with that mind control shit from South America. Don't give in, it's all a sham, it's a-" One of the men pulled his head back, giving me a knife. "End his life, so that you may compensate his with yours." I didn't want to kill the guy, he seemed the most logical. One of the men took a rifle out and pointed at me. "Do it, or join him," he said. "Kid," said 145, "Turn off the projector, destroy it. You've gotta end this hell..." With no other choice, I slit his throat. They held his neck above the black ooze of the tub, his neck gushing blood into the tub. Once he had stopped squirming, two men raised him up and lowered him into the tub. As they let go, everyone began chanting with the guard. The fluid was so thick it took a few seconds for him to submerge completely. After they finished chanting, something emerged from the top of the black liquid. Collin went over to pick it up. It was the guy's mask. This part disturbed me a lot too, because if everyone else's mask was like mine, and I assumed that they were, they were pretty tightly attached to our heads. How did it come off? "Now you must drink from the tub to complete the ritual" said Collin, "and you will finally be one of us." "No," I said sternly. No way in hell was I putting anything else in my mouth. "Do it, or they’ll kill you," he said, motioning to the man with the rifle. I was so enraged at this whole spectacle, that I decided that it was ending here. I slowly took off my robe, and then threw it at the guy with the rifle. He fell back into the tub and dropped the gun. I grabbed it and shot everyone before they could get to me, all except for Collin. I was sobbing as I pointed the gun at him. "Wait! Don't shoot!" he pleaded, "if I am to die tonight, I will end myself by joining with the lord." He removed all of his clothes and walked over to the tub. "May the Face have mercy on you," he said as he jumped into the tub. As he sunk it then occurred to me how impossible it was that three people could fit in a tub like that. I reached into the tub to feel around, except I felt nothing. There was no bottom of the bathtub, it was definitely deeper than it should have been. I then felt what I thought to have been hair on a scalp, and then a hand grasped at my wrist. I pulled away before it could drag me in. Taking all the ammo I could find from the guard, I darted to the elevator and rode it up to the top. I decided that I was going to find the projection room and reveal to everyone that this face was a lie. I ran up the stairs and made it back to the first floor. Opening the chapel we had exited through slightly, I saw what seemed to be a small window in the back of the chapel, which I assumed to be a projection room. I burst into the chapel, interrupting their chanting. I fired at the sensei, killing him, and then firing at the robed men, killing some of them. "THE NEW ONE IS A HERETIC SINNER. HE HAS DESECRATED OUR SACRED RITUAL. DESTROY HIM." screamed the face. I ran through the pews through the double doors. Next to the doors was a large piece of exorcising equipment, like a Bowflex or something. I pulled it down to block the doors. I managed to pull out one of the support bars and put it between the door handles. I went back to the door with the dark stairwell, and went up it. I shot the lock off the door and kicked it open. The room was completely bare, save for the small window, and a large chair. There was no projector in this room, and the chair was empty. I ran to the small window to see what was happening downstairs in the chapel. The surviving robed men were trying to push open the door, the sinners were still seated, but the giant face was gone. I turned around and my heart stopped. There was a large being sitting in the chair now, his skin composed of a dripping black substance similar to that of the tub. He was completely covered in it, save for his face, which was hidden behind a white mask. The mask was the same as that of giant facemask. He got up and walked toward me. I shot at him, but the holes the rifle made in his body clean white mask only regenerated. I ran around him and ran down the stairs. I knocked the candles down, and the building began to catch on fire. I tried to open the front doors, but the chains were too strong. I turned around to see the masked being coming towards me. "YOUR ACTIONS ARE UNFORGIVABLE. YOU WILL BECOME ONE WITH ME," It shouted. I aimed my rifle and managed to get a clean headshot. The mask exploded, along with his head, and his body fell backward. His form then melted into a dark puddle on the floor, which caught fire from the flames. As I tried to break the door down, I could hear the congregation chanting loudly from behind the chapel doors over and over, "All glory to the Face - The eternal Face of everyone and everything.". I finally managed to shoot the chains and padlocks off of the front door and kick them open to reveal a bright light. Then I woke up. It was 4pm, and wrote this all down as fast as I could before I forgot anything.

In the end, I felt it was like what would happen if The Wizard of Oz, Red State, and Silent Hill had an evil lovechild. If I ever get around to directing well budgeted films, I want to make one around this dream.

Mary Asher Phone Call

It's finally up! After four long months of waiting, the next episode of TribeTwelve has been posted! And let me tell you, it was probably the hardest editing job I've had since the Nature Trail Visit. I put so much time and effort into it, if you guys knew the myriad of editing tricks and the many crazy hurdles I had to overcome to get the video looking as fantastically realistic as it does, you’d respect the video making process even more than you probably already do. There are a few hidden things in the video, and I wont say what they are because I think people may have found them all already, damn you guys are fast, but I took quite a while editing them in.

The gun scene was probably one of the hardest thing I've ever edited. And yes, that is a real 9mm pistol that I used, unloaded mind you. In a nutshell, it took me four days nonstop to get the whole scene right, from the point at which I see our slender buddy at the end of the hallway to the point that I run out the door to my car. Special thanks to Ryan Beaule of the slender series WeepingThorns for helping me out with improving the tentacles for this episode. Also, whoever out there who claims that you can see a face on Slender Man in my newest TribeTwelve video is wrong. The most you can see is a completely blank head, save for two empty eye holes, just as I intended. Pause the video and you'll see.

The main reason this video took as long as it did to make was mainly college. I purposely said that I was going to be on hiatus for a while, and I have since changed my major to Motion Pictures with a Biology minor. That plus end of the semester work and finals really bogged me down, so I didn't really start the intense editing work until after. Truth be told, the majority of the editing was done in the past week. However, it was nonstop editing. Barely any sleep or food breaks, I just wanted to get this damn thing out. Kind of like a mother in labor trying with her all to push that damn baby out.

Well, the baby came out and it looks better than I thought it would. I know some people will complain about the scripting, but let them. One, Noah speaks the way he does because he's been trying to get this woman on the phone for nearly two years, and he finally has the chance in this video, so he's bound to be nervous and say dumb stuff; two, that's the way Noah talks - with a sort of cheesy vibe to it. To be honest, that's kinda an inherent part of his character's dialogue. Mary's dialogue was written the way it was because it's mainly plot driven, but also because she's trying to get information out of Noah about this Mr. Scars fellow. Honestly, it's kinda hard to make the dialogue sound realistic when you're trying your damnedest to sound like you aren't acting it out. I think Mary's voice actor and I did a very good job executing the lines and whoever disagrees should be reminded that suspension of disbelief is an essential key to enjoying series like this.

Mary Asher's voice actor is the lovely 28 year old Marissa Botelho of the slender series The Tulpa Effect. She's a friend of mine and I'm very glad she was able to voice Mary, because the way she voiced her was nearly exactly how I envisioned it.

Thanks for waiting patiently guys, I hope that this lived up to the hype enough!

Editing Hell

Since two days ago, it's been exactly four months since the last TribeTwelve video, November 11th. This has mainly been due to a short hiatus that I went on because of college and other personal matters I had to take care of. However, I've been working on the next video diligently in whatever free time I can catch. Also, since this semester has ended and Summer has started, I've working on finishing the video with full force.

Nonetheless, the editing I'm doing for this video is very advanced and the effects I'm trying to pull off in it are pretty ambitious, even by my standards. So, even though this video is a pretty big job, I'm going to put my all into it in order to get it out as soon as I possibly can. I'm not going to reveal when I plan to post this next video, but I will say that there's a certain anniversary coming up that you should all look forward to. So, since I can't give a proper 'estimated time remaining', I will give you this teaser image to serve as consolation for the time being.

The Mysterious Document of Mystery and Mysteriousness

So, I bet you're all wondering what this perplexing document was when I posted it on Tumblr.

Well, I won't say what it is explicitly, but I will give a few minor details. It is the combined effort of my two wonderful writers, Alejandra and Ashley, and myself. If you were to scroll through this odd document, you would find many random notes and interesting ideas. But, most notably, you'd find two lengthy stories that we have been writing over the course of several months.

In fact, today we spent an excess of 10+ hours finishing a rough draft of one of the stories. It's a mighty fine piece of work, although it needs some polishing and fine tuning. The other story has been in the planning stages for quite a while now, and is being written now as a rough rough draft as you read this.

Now, how does this all fit in with TribeTwelve, you might say? Well, that's for us to know any you to find out. Both stories are very relevant to the series and you'll have to wait until they are officially unveiled before I reveal any more exclusive information about them.

Get hyped!

And Adam said, “Let there be a Blog”

And there was a blog. And Adam saw that it was alright, I guess good.

After a small bit of discussion and a significant amount of thought, I've decided to resurrect this unused blogger account of mine to post updates, production notes, and possibly some behind the scenes content for my horror video series TribeTwelve. Because I've found that my Tumblr account has become more for my recreational reblogging of silly / funny / random things with TribeTwelve / Slenderverse posts arbitrarily thrown in between, and the Facebook group always tends to be cluttered with posts from group members, this blog will be exclusively focused on the production of TribeTwelve.

If anyone would like to post anything in particular, leave a comment with what you'd like to see and I'll see what I can do to appease your request. I hope that this Victorian stylized aesthetic will please your eyes for future posts.
