Crossing Over with DarkHarvest

As many of you may now know, project Blue Öyster Cult was a crossover between TribeTwelve and DarkHarvest.

Their side of our meetup can be seen here:

We both worked very hard to make our videos happen, and we think that it paid off rather nicely. However, the crossover isn't over until Noah posts his side of the footage, but that won't be for a little while because I need to convert, edit, and render the video all together. And it's a whopper of a video, it may even have to be split into two (I hope not). So stay tuned, TribeTwelve will update in the coming weeks. Maybe earlier if you're patient. ;)

A possible next project...

...that I've recently thought of doing was writing book on Slender Man. This book wouldn't necessarily be a story, but more of a Max Brooks 'Zombie Survival Guide'-esque fact/theory journal take on Slender Man with all of the important series used as references. Being one of the primordial few who launched this fandom I am a primary source, having extensive knowledge on the Slender Man Mythos and Verse. I think I have the proper credentials required to be such a fandom-size historian. Who would want to read this if I wrote it after the conclusion of TribeTwelve?

TribeTwelve: Revamped

Guys, I have a confession to make. Ever since I had come up with the TribeTwelve series finale several months ago, I've been slowly realizing that although it was an awesome idea for an ending, it had also been somewhat weak and plot-holey. Fortunately, last night, my friend Will and I had a random brainstorming session. We stayed up till 5am bouncing thoughts off of each other and eventually came up with several complex ideas along with a slightly altered and extended ending to the series. In order to accompany these vital ideas in snugly, a few things had to be changed, but these small changes make a world of a difference in the grand scheme of the series. In the end, our brainstorming session helped create some fantastic concepts that filled the gaping plot holes that we had addressed, making the overly ambiguous mysteries have more depth, meaning, and giving a much more coherent and intelligent twist to the story. The ending in particular has been drastically improved; think of the initial ending as a birthday cake, and think of the new ending as a wedding cake. At the end of the night, we reread the notepad that we had written our ideas on and went all giddy at how beautiful everything came together. What we have created is a magnificent triumph of non-linear continuity, logical concept, and abstract thought, and if you can comprehend what we have done when we pull all this off, feel free to shed a tear. The final product will be a beautiful thing, and I can not wait to share it with you all. ♥

Project "Blue Öyster" Shoot

Everyone at the Blue Öyster shoot. We had a marvelous time together!

I just got back from New Jersey the other day and I'm happy to say that the Blue Öyster Cult shoot was a complete success! We got all the shots we needed, and you guys were great to work with. I really appreciate all of your help. Thanks for everyone who traveled to Oakhurst and participated in the shoot.

For those of you who do not know, I organized a film shoot with a bunch of guys in New Jersey for a project labeled "Blue Öyster" around two weeks ago. And I'll say it now, it was indeed for an upcoming TribeTwelve episode, but it's also a little more than that. You'll all see when it comes out. We're aiming for releasing this whole dealio in about a month, more or less, but I assure you that it'll be worth your patience. We've all worked pretty hard on this and I'm pretty excited about it. So stay tuned, keep jamming down that F5 key, and DON'T SLEEP.

EVER. ♥
